Since HPE started building products in 1984, the third Honda manufacturing plant in America has now built more than 37 million products for Honda customers in the U.S. is responsible for building lawn mowers, snow blowers, string trimmers, mini-tillers and generators. HPE has the annual capacity to produce more than two million Honda general-purpose engines and 400,000 power equipment products. In 2019, HPE purchased nearly $300 million in parts and materials from 156 North American mass production suppliers, supporting sales of more than 2.6 million Honda power equipment products in North America.
